THE PRIMESDEFENSE
A future learning desk

Understand the machinery.

A proposed learning program for reading defense news with better questions and stronger context.

Acquisition literacy

The first planned area covers award announcements, contract types, obligations, options, and the difference between a budget request and an executed acquisition action.

The objective is practical: identify the document, understand what its numbers represent, and explain what is known without overstating what comes next.

Platforms and the industrial base

Further proposed modules would connect operating requirements with platform design, then follow the supplier networks, production constraints, workforce, and sustainment behind delivery.

A source-reading module would compare program fact sheets, contractor statements, public filings, and oversight reports, with attention to each document’s purpose and limits.

Roadmap status

This is a future editorial roadmap. No course is currently offered, no enrollment is open, and no payment is accepted.

The scope, format, timing, and instructors have not been announced. Any eventual program will have a separate public description before registration becomes available.
